Briefing · Class 5
The Moral Argument
Two sailors can't settle which way is North by looking at each other or the waves. They need a fixed standard above them: the stars. To know what is truly right or wrong, we need a fixed standard above human opinion.
Class discussion
If you wrote a paper arguing "fairness doesn't exist," and your teacher gave you an F just because they didn't like your shirt, what would you say?
Mission
Play a quick round. Then help two ships that disagree find a standard that doesn't depend on opinion.
